IGNOU has extended the deadline for its July 2026 admission process, giving candidates until Oct 13 to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered through Online and Open and Distance Learning (ODL) modes.
Candidates can submit their applications through the official admission portal at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. The university has advised applicants to keep their APAAR ID ready before starting the application process.

The July 2026 admission cycle includes undergraduate programs such as Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), along with honors and specialized streams.
At the postgraduate level, IGNOU is offering programs including MBA, MA across various specializations, MCA and MCom. The current admission window does not include certificate and semester-based programs.
Candidates can follow the steps below to complete the IGNOU July 2026 admission application:
Step 1: Visit the official admission portal at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
Step 2: Register on the portal if you are a new applicant.
Step 3: Enter the required registration details, including the preferred program, username and password.
Step 4: Submit the registration details to receive the username through SMS and email.
Step 5: Click on the application link and enter the required personal and academic details.
Step 6: Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
Step 7: Pay the applicable registration fee through the available online payment methods.
Step 8: Review the information entered in the application using the preview option.
Step 9: Submit the completed IGNOU July 2026 admission form and download the confirmation receipt for future reference.
IGNOU has clarified on its admission portal that the registration fee is non-refundable. Candidates should carefully verify their details and uploaded documents before submitting the form.
