Canara Bank has opened applications for 3,500 Apprentice positions, with the online registration process beginning Oct 1, 2026. Eligible graduates can apply through the bank's official website, canarabank.bank.in, until Oct 17.
Applicants who complete the registration process will be able to print their submitted application forms through Nov 1, 2026.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
The graduation qualification must have been completed between Jan 1, 2023, and Sept 1, 2026. Both dates are included in the eligibility period.
Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age as on the eligibility date. Applicants should have been born between Sept 2, 1998, and Sept 1, 2006, with both dates included.
Application process
Candidates can complete the registration process by following these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official Canara Bank website at canarabank.bank.in.
Step 2: Open the Recruitment section available on the website.
Step 3: Select the registration link for the Apprentice recruitment.
Step 4: Complete the registration process and generate the required login credentials.
Step 5: Log in and enter the required personal, academic and other details in the application form.
Step 6: Pay the applicable application fee through the available payment methods.
Step 7: Submit the completed application form.
Step 8: Download the confirmation page after successful submission.
Step 9: Keep a hard copy of the submitted application form for future reference.

Application fee
The application fee has been set at ₹500 for candidates across categories. However, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) categories are exempted from paying the application fee.
Applicants who are required to pay the fee can use a debit card, credit card, internet banking, Immediate Payment Service (IMPS), cash cards or mobile wallets to complete the transaction.
Canara Bank Apprentice recruitment 2026: Stipend
Candidates selected for the apprenticeship will receive a monthly stipend of ₹16,650, including the applicable government subsidy.
Of the total monthly amount, Canara Bank will deposit ₹10,500 directly into the apprentice's account. The remaining ₹6,150, representing the government share, will be credited to the apprentice's bank account through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system, according to the applicable guidelines.
The monthly stipend will be paid after adjusting for any loss of pay, wherever applicable.
After successfully completing the apprenticeship training, candidates will receive NATS joint certification.
