Candidates who could not complete applications during the earlier window can submit forms through the official portal until Oct 7, 2026.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has reopened the online application window for the Eligibility Certificate, giving another opportunity to candidates who were unable to complete their applications during the earlier submission period.
According to a notice issued by the Ethics and Medical Registration Board (EMRB), eligible candidates can now submit their applications through the official NMC portal at application.nmc.org.in.

The reopened application window will remain available until Oct 7, 2026, at 6 p.m. The NMC said the additional opportunity was provided after receiving several requests from candidates who encountered difficulties while submitting their applications during the previous window.
Candidates who could not complete the earlier application process have been advised to use the extended window and submit their forms before the deadline.
The commission has also cautioned applicants to verify that all required information and documents have been provided before submitting their applications. Incomplete applications will be rejected, and the NMC will not be responsible for such applications.
Candidates have been advised not to wait until the final date to apply and to complete the process as early as possible. They should also follow the instructions available on the NMC portal and ensure that all required details are entered correctly.
The NMC notice further clarified that the Eligibility Certificate process involves several stages of verification.
"The issuance of an Eligibility Certificate involves multiple checks to ascertain eligibility in accordance with the provisions of the regulations in vogue."
Applicants have also been advised to regularly monitor their registered email addresses and the online portal for further updates, announcements and information related to their applications.
The reopened window is specifically intended for candidates who could not complete the application process during the earlier period. Applicants should therefore ensure that they meet the applicable requirements before submitting their forms.
