Other Indian institutes also feature in the rankings, indicating a gradual rise in global presence and continued participation of business schools from the country across executive MBA categories.

The QS Executive MBA Rankings 2026 have been released, evaluating leading business schools worldwide on factors including career outcomes, employer reputation, diversity, executive profile, and thought leadership.
IIM Bengaluru remains the highest-ranked Indian institution and continues to be the only one from the country to feature in the global top 100.

In the latest edition, it is placed at the 64th position globally in the Executive MBA category. Despite a drop from its previous rank, the institute maintains its lead among Indian management schools.
The rankings indicate strong performance by IIM Bengaluru in areas such as employer reputation and career outcomes, underscoring its industry credibility, alumni network, and strength in executive education.
Several other Indian institutions have also been included, reflecting the growing international presence of India’s executive MBA programs.
These include the Indian School of Business, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Indore, Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad, Woxsen School of Business, and IIM Ranchi.
Globally, the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School has secured the top position, followed by HEC Paris and MIT Sloan, which continue to rank among the leading providers of executive MBA programs due to strong employer recognition, global networks, and leadership-focused curricula.
The rankings highlight that while Indian business schools are improving their global competitiveness, particularly in employability and career outcomes, areas such as diversity, international exposure, and research impact remain key for further advancement.
