
The Bhojpuri superstar was removed from the saffron party for contesting as an independent candidate against National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the Karakat constituency.

The actor, who recently joined politics, is presently contesting as the Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate for the Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh.

The film is inspired by the 2018 incident when fishermen from Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh drifted into Pakistan waters by mistake and were taken into custody.

The acclaimed filmmaker Vinay Shukla directed the film, which follows the life of Indian journalist Ravish Kumar over two years.

‘Operation Trident’ is being made in collaboration with Sunshine Digimedia. However, the makers have not revealed any details of the cast of the film and its release date yet.

“They should be allowed to come and work here. They are talented. I agree we have no dearth of talent in the Mumbai film industry. Lekin unhe bhi mauka milna chahiye (But they should also get work opportunities in Bollywood),” she said during an interview with Zoom.

In the video, Singh is seen donning a white kurta and is criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi while insisting viewers to think about “justice” before casting their votes in the upcoming elections.
