The swearing-in ceremony was held near the Kesarapalli IT Park in Gannavaram, Krishna district. Dignitaries including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and other Union Ministers, such as Jagat Prakash Nadda and Bandi Sanjay Kumar, graced the occasion.

Alam, who managed multiple departments, also stepped down as the Congress Legislative Party's leader in the Jharkhand Assembly.

As Modi is all set to lead a coalition government, the unpredictable nature of its major allies could pose a challenge and even a threat to his power.

Narendra Modi, along with other members of the Union Council of Ministers, will take the oath of office on June 9 at 7.15 pm, at the Rashtrapati Bhawan. Several international dignitaries from neighboring countries are set to attend the ceremony.

Earlier, the BJP, backed by the TDP in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), had criticized the governments of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka for providing reservations on religious grounds.

The alliance government has a history of fragility, having been formed and dissolved multiple times. Given Nitish Kumar’s reputation for political maneuvering, predicting the longevity of this government remains a challenge. The delicate balance of power and the demands of key allies will undoubtedly influence its stability.
