UGC NET June 2026 e-certificates released, check download steps

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET June 2026 e-certificates, allowing qualified candidates to download their certificates from the official UGC-NET website.

The certificates have been issued for candidates who qualified under various categories, including Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), eligibility for Assistant Professor and admission to PhD programmes.

Candidates can access their e-certificates by visiting the official UGC-NET website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, and following the instructions provided on the portal.

UGC NET June 2026: Categories covered

The e-certificates have been issued for candidates qualifying under the following categories:

1. Certificate for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) only
2. Certificate for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Assistant Professor
3. Certificate for eligibility for Assistant Professor and admission to PhD
4. Certificate for admission to PhD only

The UGC-NET examination is conducted by the NTA to determine eligibility for JRF, Assistant Professor appointments and admission to PhD programmes in Indian universities and colleges.

UGC NET June 2026: Results and re-examination

The UGC-NET June 2026 examination was conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode on June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29 and 30, followed by an examination on July 5. The English, Commerce and Sociology papers were later re-conducted on September 9 and 10.

The NTA initially declared results for 84 subjects on August 28. The three remaining subjects were re-examined after an expert committee identified factual, typographical, translation and language-related errors in the question papers, along with repetition of previously administered questions.

The results for the three re-examined subjects were declared on September 17. The re-examination was conducted at 454 centres across 272 cities, with 1,20,355 candidates appearing out of 1,96,491 registered candidates.

3. Enter the required login credentials.
