Significant changes are seen in deemed universities for medicine & health sciences category in 2024. In order to reach rank two, Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth in Pune, Maharashtra, moved up five spots. On the other hand, Siksha 'O' Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, moved up one spot to third place.

IIRF University Ranking 2024: The Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) university ranking is released for the year 2024. IIRF is the most authentic non-government ranking framework in India, developed by the IIRF Centre for Institutional Research (ICIR). It ranks more than 1,000 educational institutions nationwide.

In 2024, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth in Pillaiyarkuppam, Puducherry, entered the top 10, securing the highest position. In order to reach rank two, Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth in Pune, Maharashtra, moved up five spots. On the other hand, Siksha 'O' Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, moved up one spot to third place.

The Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, ILBS, New Delhi, fell three spots each to take fourth and fifth place, respectively.
