The Prime Minister also drew attention to an initiative from Bengaluru led by the Prayog Institute of Education Research, which is working to promote science education among school students. The institute’s program, Anveshan, focuses on research-based learning and innovation.

Under the initiative, students from Classes 9 to 12 are encouraged to explore subjects such as chemistry, earth science, and wellness through practical projects. The program also provides opportunities for students to gain research exposure and publish their work.

Referring to his interactions with students during Pareeksha Pe Charcha, Modi said many learners find science intimidating.

He noted that initiatives like Anveshan help address this by making the subject more engaging through practical application, fostering curiosity and interest.

Praising the efforts of the Prayog team, he said such models are important for developing scientific temper among students and could motivate them to pursue careers in science in the future.
