More than 200 vacancies across multiple sectors will be offered as candidates gather in New Delhi, with opportunities open to fresh graduates, final-year students, and experienced professionals.

IGNOU to hold campus placement drive on April 29 for students and alumni

IGNOU has announced a campus placement drive for its students and alumni, scheduled for April 29, 2026, at the BR Ambedkar Convention Centre at its Maidan Garhi headquarters in New Delhi.

Candidates are required to report at 10 am, and the university said more than 200 vacancies are available across sectors such as edtech, aviation, hospitality, services, and NGOs.

The recruitment drive is open to fresh graduates, final-year students, pass-outs, and experienced professionals.

Applicants from a wide range of programs, including BA, BEd, BSc, BCom, BBA, MCom, postgraduate diplomas, and diploma courses, are eligible to participate.

Candidates attending the drive have been advised to carry at least two copies of their updated CVs, a government-issued ID such as Aadhaar or PAN or an IGNOU I-Card, passport-size photographs, academic certificates, and experience letters where applicable.

Several recruiters are expected to take part in the drive. CollegeDekho.com is hiring 50 academic counselors with a monthly salary of ₹19,000 plus incentives, based in Sector 66, Gurugram.

YSL Hospitality is offering on-roll roles in sales, operations, marketing, and business development, with salaries ranging from ₹18,000 to ₹20,000 for undergraduate candidates and up to ₹25,000 for postgraduate candidates.

UPSC coaching platform SarrthiIAS is recruiting 25 candidates for positions such as sales manager, video editor, graphic designer, and director of photography, offering salaries between ₹3–₹3.84 LPA at its Noida Sector 62 office.

Gupteshwar Samiti, an NGO working in animal husbandry, fisheries, and dairy, is offering an earn-while-you-learn model with free accommodation and food, along with a stipend of ₹6,000 during training, which increases to ₹15,000 after completion of training.

More companies from different sectors are also expected to participate, providing job opportunities for both undergraduate and postgraduate candidates.
