A total of 18,124 candidates qualified the examination, with the overall pass percentage standing at 20.09% across 609 test centers held nationwide in May 2026.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the results of the CA Foundation Examination held in May 2026, with 18,124 candidates qualifying out of 90,217 who appeared for the test across 609 examination centers nationwide.
According to ICAI, the overall pass percentage stood at 20.09%. Among male candidates, 9,769 out of 46,798 cleared the examination, resulting in a pass rate of 20.88%. Among female candidates, 8,355 out of 43,419 qualified, recording a pass percentage of 19.24%.

Sakshi Jain from Nashik secured the All India Rank (AIR) 1 with 371 marks, achieving 92.75%.
The top rank holders in the CA Foundation May 2026 examination are:
• First Rank: Sakshi Jain (Nashik) – Roll No. 625231 – 371 marks (92.75%)
• Second Rank: Ayanabbas Ajani (Chandrapur) – Roll No. 566625 – 367 marks (91.75%)
• Third Rank: Radha Unmesh Mulay (Pune) – Roll No. 634489 – 365 marks (91.25%)
Candidates can access their results by visiting the official ICAI website and clicking on the "ICAI CA Foundation Result May 2026" link. They will need to enter their registration number and roll number to view and download their scorecards.
The online marksheet will display details including the candidate's name, roll number, registration number, subject-wise marks, aggregate score, and qualifying status.
To pass the CA Foundation examination, candidates must secure at least 40% marks in each subject and a minimum aggregate of 50% across all papers. Candidates scoring above 70% are awarded the designation "Qualified with Distinction" by ICAI.
