Empowering professionals and academicians with hands-on strategic decision-making through immersive business simulations, fostering leadership excellence via strong industry–academia collaboration.

KIET School of Management (KSOM), KIET (Deemed to be University), Ghaziabad, in collaboration with the Ghaziabad Management Association (GMA), successfully hosted the prestigious AIMA Chanakya – Business Simulation Program, a flagship initiative of the All India Management Association (AIMA), on 15th and 16th January 2026 at its campus.
The program was formally inaugurated by Dr. Adesh Kumar Pandey, (Director Academics, KIET), who addressed the participants and highlighted the significance of experiential learning and strategic decision-making in contemporary management education. The program was led by Dr. Chandrashekhar Rastogi (Trainer, AIMA), Mr. Rahul Agarwal (Executive Director, GMA), and Dr. Binkey Srivastava (Professor & Dean, KSOM), who collectively laid a strong foundation for this impactful industry–academia interface initiative.

The two-day immersive program witnessed enthusiastic participation from corporate professionals and academicians representing leading organizations - International Tobacco Co. Ltd., AKGIM, KIET University, Continental Carbon India. Pvt. Ltd, Ghaziabad Precision Products Pvt. Ltd., Shriram Pistons & Rings Ltd., Wika Instruments India Pvt. Ltd.
Dr. Chandrashekhar Rastogi, Trainer, AIMA, facilitated the program by providing a robust platform for experiential learning through real-time business simulations, enabling participants to make strategic decisions in a dynamic and competitive business environment.
The program featured structured competitive simulation rounds, in-depth strategic deliberations, and expert mentoring, offering participants valuable insights into strategic management, decision-making under uncertainty, and cross-functional business integration, under the guidance of certified AIMA trainers. The winners of the program are Ajay Kumar Garg Institute of Management securing First Position, followed by WIKA Instruments India Pvt. Ltd. in Second Position, and Shriram Pistons & Rings Ltd. achieving Third Position.
The event was effectively coordinated by Dr. Anurima Mishra, Faculty, KIET School of Management. The program aimed to enhance participants’ strategic thinking, leadership abilities, and managerial competencies through a highly engaging simulation-based learning methodology. KIET School of Management expressed its delight in collaborating with AIMA and GMA for this impactful initiative. Such programs significantly contribute to shaping competent and confident future managers.”
The valedictory session was graced by the presence of Dr. T. R. Pandey (President, GMA; Director, AKGIM). The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Rahul Agarwal (Executive Director, GMA), who acknowledged the valuable contributions of the dignitaries, trainers, participants, and the organizing team.
