A vibrant celebration of India’s 77th Republic Day at SRM University-AP, marked by flag unfurling, NCC parade, cultural harmony, student participation, and a renewed call towards nation-building and development.

Celebrating unity, strength and patriotic spirit, SRM University-AP hosted the 77th Republic Day celebrations with remarkable enthusiasm and zeal. The celebrations commenced with the unfurling of the flag by the Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Ch Satish Kumar in the presence of Dr R Premkumar, Registrar, university leadership, academic and administrative community of SRM University-AP.
The newly established NCC contingent of SRM AP displayed a spectacular parade by the student cadets along with the university security contingent. In his address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Ch Satish Kumar spoke about the remarkable development matrices that place in the forefront as a global leader. He stated, “Development means making people ready for tomorrow. Let’s make India a developed nation,” encouraging students to work towards the population dividend, where India has a window for advantage.

The student exchange cohort from SRM Sikkim joined SRM University-AP for the celebrations, highlighting the true spirit of discipline, diversity, and cultural harmony. Cultural programmes featured cultural artforms from Sikkim and Andhra Pradesh, musical, dance, and drama performances exhibiting the country's rich cultural heritage. Members of the SRM AP community who have completed five years of service were also felicitated at the ceremony.
