Delhi EWS admission 2026: Check final lottery result, school allotment and admission process

Delhi's Directorate of Education (DoE) has announced the final computerized lottery results for EWS, Disadvantaged Group (DG) and Children with Special Needs (CWSN) admissions for the 2026-27 academic session.

The results cover Nursery, KG and Class 1 admissions, while separate draw results have also been released for EWS/Freeship admissions to Classes 3 to 9.

Parents can view the allotment details through the official EWS admission portal, ewsadmissions.delhi.gov.in, or the DoE website, edudel.nic.in.

The final lottery has assigned schools to 4,144 students across Nursery, KG and Class 1 under the EWS/DG and CWSN categories.

Final Delhi EWS lottery allotments

For Nursery, schools have been allotted to 1,306 EWS/DG students and three CWSN students. At the KG level, 586 EWS/DG students and one CWSN student have received school allotments through the final draw.

For Class 1, the lottery has allotted schools to 2,233 EWS/DG students and 15 CWSN students.

The computerized draw was conducted to allocate seats under the specified admission categories in private unaided recognized schools.

Parents can access their child's allotment details by following these steps:

1. Visit ewsadmissions.delhi.gov.in.
2. Go to the "Circulars" section on the homepage.
3. Select the result link corresponding to the relevant class and admission category.
4. Download the result PDF.
5. Search the list for the child's name.
6. Save the result PDF for future reference.

Admission process after school allotment

Students selected through the computerized lottery will have to complete document verification and other admission formalities at the private unaided recognized school allotted to them.

Parents should review the DoE's official instructions and contact the allotted school to confirm the documents required, verification process and deadline for completing admission.

Separate results for Classes 3 to 9

Along with the Nursery, KG and Class 1 results, the DoE has released separate EWS/DG and CWSN lists and draw results for EWS/Freeship admissions to Classes 3 to 9.
