The National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) is the leading governmental organization in India responsible for the planning, development, and execution of industrial corridors and smart cities aimed at enhancing manufacturing and logistics capabilities.
Established in 2007, it originated as part of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (DMICDC) and was subsequently expanded to form NICDC. It operates under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Government of India.

The primary objectives of NICDC include the development of advanced industrial cities that incorporate smart technologies, the establishment of globally competitive manufacturing centers, the promotion of industrial investments and innovation, and the support of India's ambition to emerge as a global manufacturing leader.
Its functions encompass the development and management of key industrial corridors such as the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor, Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor, and Bengaluru-Mumbai Industrial Corridor.
Additionally, NICDC coordinates infrastructure planning across various sectors, including transport, logistics, utilities, and information technology, implements multimodal connectivity to improve access and lower logistics expenses, facilitates public-private partnerships for expedited project delivery, and acts as a catalyst for job creation and socio-economic advancement.
