The air in cities is getting worse because of all the bad things we are putting into it

Now many cities in India are dealing with really bad air pollution. This is causing a lot of problems for the environment and for peoples health. As more and more people move to cities and as there are factories and cars the air is getting worse. This is especially true in cities.
Some important things to know about this problem are:

* The air is getting worse because of all the cars on the road. As more people buy cars and the roads get more crowded the air is getting worse. This is because cars put out things like tiny particles, nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide.
* Factories and construction are also making the air worse. The bad things they put into the air are adding to the problem. Sometimes when farmers burn their crops or when the weather is bad the air gets even worse.
The government is trying to make things better by using energy. They want to use energy from the sun and wind. They want people to use cleaner fuels like natural gas and electric cars. They are also making rules to help reduce pollution.
The government is also trying to get people to use transportation more. They are building metro lines using electric buses and making special lanes for bikes. This way people will not have to use their cars much.
They are also telling people about the importance of taking care of the air. They want people to drive less throw away their trash properly and be more careful about how they live.
This problem is really important because bad air is making people sick. It is giving them breathing problems, heart problems. Making them die younger. The people who are most affected are children and old people.
Bad air is also costing us money. We have to spend more on healthcare and people are not able to work much because they are sick. If the air is bad people will not want to visit our cities. It will be a bad place to live.
We need to do something, about this problem now. We need to make rules to help keep the air clean. We need to use new technology to help us. We also need people to get involved. Help make a change.
In the run we need to plan our cities better use cleaner energy and have better transportation systems. This way we can make sure that people have air to breathe and that our cities are healthy and sustainable.
