A dozen teams, involving 100 police officers, have been formed to look into various aspects of the case that seems to get murkier by the day.
In both of the recent fire incidents – Rajkot’s game zone and a children’s hospital in the national capital – which claimed 34 lives, including several children, the owners were found to have flouted the fire safety norms.
So far, nine arrests have been made in connection with the case, which includes four owners and manager of TRP game zone.
The suspended JD(S) leader had filed a plea for anticipatory bail before his return which was rejected by a special court in Bengaluru.
