Uttar Pradesh: Two Bahraich murder accused trying to escape custody injured in encounter with police

Superintendent of Police, Bahraich, Vrinda Shukla said that the accused duo under arrest opened fire near the Nepal border in the Nanpara area, prompting police to return fire in self-defense. He added that the accused were escorted by police team for the recovery of murder weapon, when the incident took place.
