Shilpi, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, was killed while on her way to a construction site for work. The driver fled the scene.

A woman was killed in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, after being hit by a speeding SUV driven by a 17-year-old. The boy was arrested on Oct 31.
CCTV footage of the incident from the Bisrakh area, now circulating on social media, captures the SUV racing into view and hitting the pedestrian.

In the video, the SUV is seen overtaking a tractor before the driver loses control, causing the vehicle to drift off course and collide with the woman. The vehicle dragged her along before crashing into a pole.
According to the police, the accident occurred near Bisrakh's CRC society. Shilpi, 27, from Jatpura in Hardoi district, Uttar Pradesh, was killed while on her way to a construction site for work. The driver fled the scene.
A similar incident occurred in Pune on May 19, in which another 17-year-old, allegedly driving under the influence, crashed his speeding Porsche into a motorcycle, killing two software engineers.
The teen driver, the son of a real estate developer, was initially given a minor penalty by the juvenile board shortly after the accident.
However, following public outrage and media attention, he was arrested again. The Bombay High Court eventually ordered his release.
In another case from Mumbai, Mihir Shah was accused of killing a 45-year-old woman, Kaveri Nakhwa, who was riding pillion with her husband, Pradeep Nakhwa, on their scooter when Shah's BMW, allegedly driven by him while intoxicated, hit them from behind.
The investigation revealed that Shah dragged the woman, who remained on the bonnet of the car, for over a kilometer towards the Bandra Worli Sea Link.
Another incident occurred last month when two young men on a motorcycle were killed by a speeding car in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, in the early hours of Oct 6.
In a separate incident, Indore Police arrested the driver of a BMW on Sep 16, who allegedly killed two young women in a hit-and-run on the evening of Sep 15 while driving at high speed in the wrong direction to deliver a birthday cake to a friend.
