The initiative will focus on learners in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, offering online training, AWS certification opportunities, professional mentoring and potential employer interviews for successful participants.

The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Cultus Education and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have launched a national Cloud and AI skilling program for 1.5 lakh learners.
The initiative will focus on youth in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities and provide online training, allowing participants to build skills without relocating to major urban centers.

Participants will first complete AWS foundational digital training covering basic Cloud and Artificial Intelligence skills. Those who demonstrate the required readiness can move to the AWS re/Start program, which will train 10,000 participants in job-ready cloud skills.
The AWS re/Start curriculum includes cloud infrastructure, networking, security, programming, databases and AI fundamentals. The training will combine coursework and hands-on labs with professional mentoring.
AWS has identified Cultus Education and Technology Services as its India partner for AWS re/Start. Candidates interested in the program can register through the Cultus registration portal or apply through the official AWS program page.
The re/Start program is free, although eligibility and selection requirements may differ between batches.
The application form requires candidates to provide details such as their name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, age, state, English proficiency and access to a suitable computer.
Successful participants can earn an AWS industry-recognized certification and receive access to interview opportunities with employers. A national hackathon will also provide participants with an opportunity to showcase their Cloud and AI projects.
