Police said 24-year-old Fatima Khan from Ulhasnagar area in Maharashtra's Thane district has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology but is reportedly mentally unstable.

The Mumbai police on Nov 3 detained a 24-year-old woman for allegedly issuing a death threat to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath a day before.
Police identified the woman as Fatima Khan from the Ulhasnagar area in Maharashtra's Thane. She has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, but is reportedly mentally unstable, a police officer was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.

According to the Mumbai Police Traffic Control Cell, it received a threatening message from an unknown number on Nov 2 evening, which said that Adityanath would be killed like former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique if he didn't resign within 10 days.
Authorities alerted the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) following the threat to Adityanath. The ATS successfully traced the woman believed to have issued the threat, locating her in Ulhasnagar.
In a joint operation with the local police, the ATS team raided the woman’s residence to conduct an inquiry. After gathering initial information, she was taken to the local police station for further questioning.
Fatima was brought to Mumbai for further interrogation. A senior police officer was quoted as saying she had not been arrested; instead, she was issued a notice following the questioning.
Also, authorities plan to conduct a mental health check-up for the woman to assess her psychological condition, he added.
Meanwhile Adityanath’s security has been beefed-up following the message. Pertinently, Siddique was shot dead by three men outside his son Zeeshan Siddique's office on Oct 12.
The threat to Adityanath comes days a few days after a man Azam Mohammed Mustafa from Mumbai's Bandra East was arrested on Oct 30 for issuing a death threat to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, and demanding a ransom of ₹ 2 crore.
Similarly, a 20-year-old man was arrested in Noida on Oct 29 for issuing threats to actor Khan and Baba Siddique's son, and Bandra East Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA Zeeshan Siddique.
The accused, identified as Mohammad Tayyab, also demanded money from Siddique and Khan, according to police.
