SBI Clerk prelims admit card 2026 released, exam on Sept 26 and 27

The State Bank of India (SBI) has made the preliminary examination call letter available for candidates applying for the Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) recruitment. Applicants can download the SBI Clerk prelims admit card through the bank’s official recruitment portal.

The SBI Clerk preliminary examination is scheduled for Sept 26 and 27, 2026. The call letter will provide candidates with their allotted examination date, shift, reporting time and test center.

The recruitment process aims to fill 9,766 Junior Associate positions. SBI accepted applications for the posts from Aug 11 to Aug 31, 2026.

The preliminary test will be held in multiple shifts. Candidates must refer to their individual admit cards for the exact shift and reporting time assigned to them.

Candidates can follow these steps to access their SBI Clerk preliminary examination call letter:

Step 1: Go to the official SBI website

Step 2: Select the 'Careers' section on the homepage

Step 3: A new page will appear

Step 4: Select 'Current Openings' and locate the notification titled 'Recruitment of Junior Associates (Preliminary examination call letter is available for download)'

Step 5: Open the admit card link

Step 6: Enter the required login details and select 'Submit'

Step 7: Download the SBI Clerk prelims call letter and keep a copy for future use

SBI Clerk prelims exam pattern

The preliminary examination will have 100 objective questions carrying 100 marks. Candidates will have 60 minutes to complete the test, with 20 minutes assigned to each section.

The English Language section will contain 30 questions for 30 marks, while Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability will have 35 questions each, carrying 35 marks each.

The examination pattern is as follows:

English Language: 30 questions, 30 marks, 20 minutes

Numerical Ability: 35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes

Reasoning Ability: 35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes

Total: 100 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes
