The course is divided into two semesters, with each semester carrying 20 credits. The first semester covers Introduction to Development and Development Theories, Dynamics of Development, and Issues and Challenges of Development.

Students will take Research Methodology in Development Studies as a compulsory course during the second semester.

They can select electives such as Gender Studies, Development Planning and Communication, Training and Development, Local Self Governance, Health and Development, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Urban Development and Project Work.

After completing the course, graduates can explore roles with government and non-government organizations, development agencies, CSR programs and other institutions involved in social and economic development.

The total fee for the program is ₹8,000, according to the university.
