Under the program, students will spend the first year of their MBA at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University before completing the second year at Lincoln University College in Malaysia. On successful completion of the course, graduates will be awarded MBA degrees from both universities.

University officials said the initiative is intended to provide students with international academic exposure, contemporary management education, and a deeper understanding of global business practices.

The university expects the program to strengthen students' employment prospects and improve opportunities with multinational companies.

Officials added that the dual degree offering builds on the existing academic and research partnership between Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University and Lincoln University College.

The university is currently finalizing the fee structure and admission process for the program. Details are expected to be announced within a week.

Separately, the university has also approved the introduction of a Bachelor of Business Administration in Tourism and Hospitality Management (BBA-THM) from the current academic session under its Department of Commerce.

Vice Chancellor Professor Poonam Tandon said the initiative marks a significant step towards the internationalization of higher education and will provide students with globally competitive learning opportunities.
