Candidates allotted seats can accept their offers until June 17, while admissions to performance-based programs and newly introduced one-year postgraduate courses will follow separately.

Delhi University has completed the first round of postgraduate admissions for the 2026-27 academic session, allocating 11,548 seats across 74 two-year master's programs through its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-PG).
The allocations, released on Monday, cover admissions across a range of categories, including Unreserved, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Kashmiri Migrant (KM), Single Girl Child (SGC), and Orphan categories.

Students who received seat offers have until June 17 to accept them, while the fee payment window will remain open until June 19, the university said.
The admissions process is based on candidates' Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET-PG) scores. Applications for the current cycle were accepted between May 16 and June 7.
While the first allocation round covers most postgraduate programs, admissions to courses requiring auditions, trials, or performance assessments will take place later.
These include MA Music, Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed), Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed), and admissions under the Sports and Children/Widows of Armed Forces Personnel (CW) categories.
The university has advised applicants to regularly check the websites of the respective departments for details regarding auditions, practical examinations, and other evaluation schedules.
This year's admission process also comes as Delhi University prepares to introduce its first batch of one-year postgraduate programs under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 framework.
Unlike the traditional two-year master's courses, the new one-year programs will be available only to Delhi University graduates who have completed a four-year undergraduate degree and fulfill the eligibility requirements prescribed by the university.
A separate admission portal will be launched for these programs. The initiative marks a significant step in the implementation of NEP 2020 reforms at the university, introducing an alternative postgraduate pathway for eligible students.
University officials had earlier advised applicants seeking admission to two-year postgraduate courses to submit the maximum possible preferences while registering through the CSAS-PG portal.
Candidates were permitted to apply only for subjects in which they had appeared in the CUET-PG examination.
With the release of the first allocation list, the university has now moved into the next phase of the admission cycle, while preparations continue for subsequent rounds and the rollout of the newly introduced one-year postgraduate programs.
