What is BrahMos?

BrahMos is a supersonic cruise missile with two stages, collaboratively developed by India’s DRDO and Russia’s NPOM.
It is the fastest operational cruise missile globally, functioning at speeds of Mach 2.8–3.0.
Essential Features:

Operational Condition:
Navy: Installed on Rajput and Visakhapatnam-class destroyers along with Veer-class corvettes.
Army: Various regiments active with mobile launch systems.
