IIT Madras Opens Registration for JEE Advanced 2024
IIT Madras is set to kick off the registration process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 on April 27. Prospective candidates can access the registration link on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. Notably, the registration process is open to foreign national candidates, including Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and Person of Indian Origin (PIO) candidates who have obtained an OCI or PIO card on or after March 4, 2021.
The registration link will remain active until May 7, with the deadline for fee payment set for May 10, up to 5 pm. The application fee stands at Rs 3,200, while female candidates and those from reserved categories are eligible for a discounted fee of Rs 1,600.

Additionally, practice tests for JEE Advanced 2024 are now available on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in, for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.
IIT Madras has scheduled the JEE Advanced 2024 exam for May 26. Paper 1 will take place from 9 am to 12 pm, followed by Paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm on the same day.
Candidates can expect a series of important events following the examination. Admit cards will be released from May 17 until May 26. After the exam, candidates can access their response copies on the JEE Advanced 2024 website starting May 31. The provisional answer key will be published online on June 2, with feedback and comments accepted until June 3. The final answer key and results are slated for online declaration on June 9.
In the previous year, a total of 43,773 applicants qualified in the JEE Advanced 2023 exams, with 36,264 male candidates and 7,509 female candidates. The Hyderabad zone emerged as the leading producer of qualifying applicants for that year.
