Blue Planet Environmental Solutions, located in Singapore, is poised to construct the largest waste processing facility in the world at Kodungaiyur, North Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Largest Waste Treatment Facility in the World
The Kodungaiyur landfill contains 66 lakh cubic meters of piled-up waste, presenting significant risks to the environment and public health.

Blue Planet Environmental, working together with the Greater Chennai Corporation, seeks to eliminate the substantial waste through bio-mining, resulting in significant advancements in public health and the surrounding environment.
The initiative also involves converting agricultural by-products, like paddy stubble, into compressed biogas (CBG), collaborating with nearby farmers. This action will not only promote clean energy generation but also aid in reducing the practice of stubble burning.
The firm based in Singapore operates on a Zero-Residue Model.
Zero-Residue Model:
The zero residue model guarantees that all waste is either processed or treated, resulting in a 100% scientific use of every kind of waste produced.
Landfill resources undergo scientific processing with no environmental impact. It emphasizes recycling, bio-mining, RDF transformation, and composting.
Blue Planet views waste as a valuable resource and uses technology to extract the maximum value from various types of waste, including organic, food, industrial, commercial, and more.
Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) and Recovered Energy Fuel (REF) are delivered to cement factories, substituting 20 lakh tonnes of coal/fossil fuels.
