There seems to be a headway in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic as Russia has completed the first ever clinical trials of vaccine on humans.
According to a report in news agency ANI, Balkrishna said that a trial was conducted on hundreds of Covid-19 patients and that the medicine has yielded “100% favourable results.”
The analysis shows that when the number of infected becomes equal to those removed from circulation by recovery and death, the coefficient will reach the 100 per cent threshold and the epidemic will be “extinguished”.
The number of coronavirus patients in the city has been on the rise over the last week, registering a jump of more than a thousand patients each day.
The medical journal retracted the study after the paper’s authors said they could no longer vouch for its underlying data.
