Israel has issued an unusual advisory warning Iranian civilians to avoid using railways, citing the risk of potential strikes on transport infrastructure amid the ongoing conflict.
The warning, reportedly issued in Farsi, cautioned that being present near railway lines or trains could put lives at risk. The advisory is being seen as an indication that railway networks could be targeted in future attacks.

The development comes at a time of heightened tensions between Iran, Israel, and the United States, with ongoing military operations and threats of further escalation. Israeli officials have not publicly detailed specific targets but have signalled an expansion of strikes to additional infrastructure.
The advisory coincides with a deadline set by US President Donald Trump, who has warned of major military action if Iran does not meet key demands, including reopening the Strait of Hormuz for global shipping.
Trump has threatened strikes on critical Iranian infrastructure, including bridges and power plants, if Tehran fails to comply within the stipulated timeframe.
Iran, however, has rejected ceasefire proposals and conditions linked to the reopening of the strategic waterway. Officials in Tehran have instead demanded a complete halt to US and Israeli attacks and broader guarantees before engaging in negotiations.
The warning regarding railways comes amid continued strikes across Iran targeting strategic and military-linked infrastructure.
At the same time, communication challenges within Iran, including restrictions on internet access, have made it difficult for such advisories to reach the wider population. However, satellite media and external broadcasts continue to relay the warnings to civilians.
The broader conflict has already led to significant disruptions in regional stability, with attacks reported on multiple fronts and growing concerns over the safety of critical infrastructure.
Global observers have also raised concerns about the implications of targeting civilian-linked infrastructure, warning of potential humanitarian consequences if such strikes are carried out.
With the deadline set by Washington approaching, diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the situation remain uncertain. While mediators continue to push for negotiations, both sides appear to be holding firm on their positions.
