Rahul Gandhi accuses Modi of hiding "the donation business".
Rahul Gandhi has slammed the Centre for trying a last attempt before the Lok Sabha polls to hide Modi’s real face after the State Bank of India moved Supreme Court seeking extension of deadline to reveal electoral bond details till June 30.
Last month on February 15, the apex court had directed the SBI to provide details of each electoral bond encashed by political parties by March 6.

Gandhi took to X, saying “Narendra Modi is trying hard to hide the ‘donation business’.”
“When the Supreme Court has clearly said that the people of the country have the right to know the truth about electoral bonds, then why does the SBI unwilling to make the information public before the elections?” the former Congress chief said in a Hindi post on X.
On February 15, the Supreme Court in an unprecedented judgement, had annulled the electoral bonds scheme for political funding.
After which, the SBI filed an application in the apex court asking for more time as the process is time-consuming.
The SBI in its plea said that the retrieval of information from "each silo" and the procedure of matching the information of one silo to that of the other would be a time-consuming exercise.
SBI’s plea mentions that owing to the stringent measures of identity protection of those who made the donations to the political parties, decoding the electoral bonds and matching donors with the donations is likely to be a complex process.
Gandhi in his post deduced that the fact that entire data can be retrieved on one click, SBI’s request for a deadline extension in itself shows that something is fishy.
Every independent organization of the country is trying to cover up their corruption by becoming 'Modani family'. This is the 'last attempt' to hide Modi's 'real face' before the elections, his post read.
