According to the probe agency officials, Anmol’s name came up recently in connection with the ongoing investigations in Mumbai, particularly related to activities of a political party. Lawrence Bishnoi (L) and his brother Anmol Bishnoi.
National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced ₹ 10 lakh reward for providing information leading to the arrest of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi, who has been named in the two charge sheets filed in connection with a case registered in 2022 under provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act – UAPA.
Pertinently, Anmol’s name gained attention recently in connection with ongoing investigations by the probe agency in Mumbai, particularly related to activities involving a political party. He is also wanted in connection with a shooting incident that occurred outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai earlier this year, according to NIA officials.

The reward announcement is part of the probe agency’s ongoing efforts to apprehend individuals involved in organized crimes and related activities.
In a statement on Oct 25, NIA urged the general public to provide information on Anmol’s whereabouts and said his arrest could lead the agency to have insights into broader illegal operations of the notorious Bishnoi gang across the country.
Pertinently, the move comes almost nine months after NIA seized several illegal arms and ammunition, along with incriminating documents, digital devices, and cash, in a massive multi-state crackdown in three cases relating to conspiracies and activities of the banned terror organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and the Lawrence Bishnoi Crime Syndicate, among others.
Also, multiple teams of NIA sleuths raided at least 32 locations in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Chandigarh in January this year.
The cases in which the NIA swooped down in January this year were related to the terror activities being carried out by the BKI, and the terrorist-gangster networks operating in the country.
The activities of the nexus include smuggling and induction of terrorist hardware, such as arms and ammunition, explosives, and IEDs, across the borders.
The terror hardware is being used by operatives of terror outfits and organized criminal syndicates for carrying out bomb explosions, targeted killings, extortion, and terror funding of terror outfits in various parts of the country, according to the NIA.
The network of the nexus has been involved in many sensational crimes including the murders of popular Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala as well as religious and social leaders like Pardeep Kumar, besides large-scale extortions from top businessmen and other professionals.
