Telangana Police on Oct 27 raided a farmhouse allegedly linked to former minister KT Rama Rao's brother-in-law Raj Pakala after it got a tip-off in which 35 people were detained including 14 women.
A Cyberabad’s Special Operation Team (SOT) conducted the raid. It detained individuals for serving liquor without obtaining the required license from the public excise department and using narcotic drugs at a farmhouse in Hyderabad's Janwada area.

Seven imported liquor bottles containing 10.5 litres of alcohol, along with 10 bottles of Indian-made liquor, all reportedly being served without a licence were seized, police said.
According to media reports, the SOT team immediately conducted tests on all the individuals during which one of the detainees also tested positive for drugs.
Several violations under the NDPS Act were allegedly made ta the party. The Cyberabad Police have filed a case against Pakala for violating the excise norms and hoarding excessive alcohol. The excise officials may also book additional cases for violating the norms.
Allegedly, some high-profile individuals also participated in the rave party but their names have not been revealed.
Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders have criticized the ruling Congress party for protecting the state's influential political family of KCR. Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), is a veteran Indian politician and the founder of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). KTR is his son and the working President of the BRS.
The BJP has demanded an impartial probe and the disclosure of CCTV footage from the farmhouse. The saffron party has alleged a nexus between both Congress and the BRS. So far neither KTR nor the BRS party has released any statement on the issue.
