ISRO Apprentice Recruitment 2026: VSSC invites applications for 462 apprentice posts

ISRO's Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre has announced a walk-in recruitment drive to fill 462 apprentice positions, with the selection process scheduled for July 25, 2026, in Thiruvananthapuram.

According to the official notification, eligible candidates can attend the walk-in selection without submitting an online application. Registrations and applications will be accepted only on the day of the recruitment drive.

The selection process will be conducted from 9:30 am to 5 pm at the VSSC Pavilion, Karthika Thirunal Government Vocational and Higher Secondary School for Girls, Manacaud.

The recruitment includes 273 Graduate Apprentice vacancies and 189 Technician Apprentice vacancies across multiple disciplines.

Candidates appearing for the selection process must carry original documents along with self-attested photocopies. These include the degree or diploma certificate, consolidated mark sheet, Class 10 certificate as proof of date of birth, one passport-size photograph, and an experience certificate, if applicable.

Applicants from reserved categories are required to produce valid supporting documents. SC and ST candidates must submit a caste certificate, while OBC candidates should carry a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued in the prescribed Government of India format.

Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates must present an Income and Asset Certificate for the financial year 2026-27.

Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are required to produce a valid disability certificate issued by the competent authority.

VSSC said the selection will be based solely on merit, with candidates shortlisted according to the highest marks secured in the qualifying examination. Reservation policies will be implemented in line with Government of India norms, and no written examination will be conducted.

Candidates have been advised to confirm that they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria before attending the walk-in selection process and ensure they carry all the required documents to avoid any inconvenience during verification.
