Eligible Class 12 pass candidates can submit applications through the KEA portal until July 22, with the written examination scheduled for Sept 6, 2026.

The Karnataka State Police (KSP) has opened applications for the recruitment of 1,600 Armed Police Constable posts, inviting eligible candidates to apply through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) portal.
The online registration process began on June 22 and will remain open until July 22, 2026. The recruitment drive covers vacancies in the Civil Armed Reserve (CAR) and District Armed Reserve (DAR) units across the state.

Candidates selected through the recruitment process will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹37,500 to ₹76,100.
To be eligible, applicants must have passed the Pre-University Course (PUC), Class 12, or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. Candidates must possess the required qualification certificate by the closing date of applications, while those awaiting results are not eligible to apply.
Applicants are also required to have studied Kannada as a first or second language at the SSLC level or have qualified the Kannada language examination conducted by KEA.
The minimum age for applicants is 18 years, and the maximum age is 33 years as of July 22, 2026.
The state government has granted a one-time upper age relaxation of five years for eligible candidates. Additional age concessions for ex-servicemen will be provided in accordance with government rules.
Interested candidates can submit their applications online by registering on the KEA portal, completing the application form, uploading the necessary documents, and paying the prescribed fee.
The application fee has been fixed at ₹500 for General category candidates and ₹250 for other eligible categories.
According to the recruitment schedule, the written examination will be conducted on Sept 6, 2026, from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon.
