LT Foods Launches Daawat Factory at KidZania India to Teach Children Basmati Rice Journey Through Interactive Learning

LT Foods Ltd., a global FMCG company in the consumer food segment, has partnered with KidZania India to launch the Daawat Factory, an interactive learning centre designed to introduce children to the journey of basmati rice from farm to fork.

The new attraction has been launched for Daawat, the flagship rice brand of LT Foods, and is positioned as a first-of-its-kind experiential centre within KidZania India. It aims to combine education with entertainment by allowing children to understand food production through role-play and practical engagement.

Children aged between four and 14 years can participate in a 25-minute activity where they take on the role of Production Engineers. Dressed in uniforms and working in teams, participants move through different stages of rice processing, including quality checks, machinery operations and packaging. The experience highlights the precision and care involved in producing basmati rice.

At the end of the session, participants receive a 200g pack of Daawat Basmati rice along with a digital certificate recognising their completion of the activity.

LT Foods said the initiative seeks to build awareness among younger audiences about the science and technology behind food products commonly used in Indian households. The company added that the collaboration also reflects its focus on consumer engagement through immersive brand experiences.

Ashwani Arora, Managing Director and CEO of LT Foods, said the partnership with KidZania India is aimed at helping children understand the craftsmanship and responsibility involved in creating a trusted food brand. He added that the initiative also encourages values such as quality, innovation and accountability at an early age.

Sanjeev Kumar, Chairman of KidZania India, said the Daawat Factory brings to life the transformation of paddy into premium basmati rice in an engaging format for children and families. He said the collaboration strengthens awareness of the brand while offering a meaningful educational experience.

KidZania India is known for its indoor edutainment model, where children learn about different professions through interactive activities in a safe environment.
