The board said its systems remained operational on June 3 despite cyberattack attempts, as students continued submitting requests for answer sheet review through the online portal.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has received more than 56,000 applications for answer sheet verification and re-evaluation since opening its post-result review portal, while also successfully countering a major cyberattack targeting the platform.
Sharing an update on June 3, the board said the portal continued to function smoothly despite a large-scale attempt to disrupt services.

"More than 56,000 applications for verification and re-evaluation were accepted by 9.30 pm," CBSE said in a post on X.
The board also reported that its systems successfully prevented a packet denial-of-service attack involving approximately 3.8 million packets.
"Our technical teams are proactively monitoring performance and introducing refinements to deliver a smoother, faster, and more seamless experience for students," said the board in a statement.
CBSE opened the online facility for verification of issues identified in scanned copies of answer books and for re-evaluation of answers on June 2. The application window will remain available until midnight on June 6.
Students seeking review of their results must submit applications exclusively through the online portal, as offline requests are not being accepted.
According to CBSE, the fee for verification of answer books is ₹100 per application, while re-evaluation requests are charged at ₹25 per question. Payments can be made through online modes only.
As part of enhanced security measures introduced this year, the board has implemented Aadhaar authentication for users accessing the portal.
Students can obtain further information and submit their applications through the official CBSE website.
