Bihar Government Declares ₹10,000 Reward for Government School Students Achieving First Division in 10th Boards

In a move to encourage academic excellence and foster educational aspirations, the Bihar government has introduced a reward system for students who secure a First Division in the Class 10th Board Examination from government schools within the state. The notification of this initiative was conveyed by the state education department through the X platform (formerly Twitter).

Under this scheme, a cash prize of ₹10,000 will be directly transferred via the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism to boys and girls who achieve a First Division in the 10th grade from government schools in Bihar. This noteworthy incentive is being administered under the Mukhyamantri Balak Balika Protsahan Yojna (MBBPY).

2. Thoroughly review the provided instructions, ensuring all prerequisites are in order
3. On the website’s homepage, click on the ‘Apply’ button
4. In the ensuing page, acknowledge the stipulated terms and conditions, then proceed by clicking ‘Continue’
5. Complete the online registration by furnishing all required information in the registration form
6. Validate your mobile number and email address
7. Following registration, await the successful verification of your bank account
8. Once your bank account verification is confirmed, you will receive a unique User ID and Password
9. Log in to the portal using the provided User ID and Password
10. Upon logging in, apply for the scholarship and finalize the submission of the application form
11. Ensure you retain a printout of the application confirmation page for future reference
12. Await the completion of the bank payment process, following the submission of your application
