Pralhad Joshi reviews preparations for upcoming national-level exams, calling for stronger security, smoother coordination and timely communication with candidates.

Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi on Thursday reviewed the National Testing Agency’s (NTA) preparations for upcoming national-level examinations, with a focus on exam security, candidate convenience and smooth conduct of the tests.
Joshi met the Secretary of the Department of Higher Education and senior NTA officials to assess the agency’s preparedness and review measures aimed at ensuring secure and efficient examinations.

During the review, Joshi stressed the need to strengthen examination security and ensure that upcoming tests are conducted efficiently and transparently.
The meeting also focused on improving coordination among the various stakeholders involved in the examination process. Timely communication with students and aspirants was highlighted as another key area to ensure that candidates receive important information without delays.
Joshi said the review covered four broad areas — strengthening examination security, improving candidate convenience, ensuring efficient conduct of examinations and enhancing coordination across the examination ecosystem.
The minister also emphasised the need for a seamless and student-friendly examination experience. For millions of candidates appearing in national-level entrance and eligibility tests, clear communication, reliable arrangements and smooth examination processes remain crucial.
The NTA conducts several major national-level examinations and is responsible for putting in place systems to ensure their secure and efficient conduct.
The review is aimed at reinforcing preparedness across different stages of the examination process, including security arrangements, inter-agency coordination and communication with candidates.
Joshi separately met senior officials of the Department of Higher Education to discuss issues concerning the higher education sector.
The discussions emphasised innovation, adaptability and student-centric approaches to preparing young people for a rapidly changing world.
The latest review of NTA preparations comes as the agency works towards the conduct of its upcoming examinations, with the ministry stressing the importance of robust security, close coordination and timely communication at every stage.
