Eligible applicants can submit details online until June 12, while authorities continue preparations for the June 21 examination and parliamentary review of arrangements.

The National Testing Agency has opened the online facility for Persons with Disabilities and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities candidates to submit scribe details for NEET UG 2026 ahead of the re-examination scheduled on June 21.
The registration window became active on June 9 and will remain open until June 12 at 11:50 pm, according to the latest public notice issued by the agency. Eligible candidates must complete the process through the official NEET portal within the stipulated timeline.

To register, candidates need to log in at neet.nta.nic.in using their application credentials. Eligible applicants will see the “Register Scribe Details” option on their candidate dashboard.
After selecting the appropriate facility, candidates must enter the required information and submit it online. The updated details can then be verified through the “View Application Form” section and the final confirmation page.
The NTA has advised candidates to regularly check nta.ac.in and neet.nta.nic.in for further updates as the examination date approaches.

The re-NEET UG 2026 exam will be held on June 21 from 2 pm to 5:15 pm at centers across the country. The exam was originally conducted on May 3 but was later canceled following allegations of a paper leak.
Meanwhile, officials from the Union Health and Education ministries, the NTA, and the National Medical Commission are scheduled to appear before the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare on June 10.
The panel has called the secretaries of Higher Education and Health, along with senior representatives of the NTA and NMC, to brief it on preparations for the June 21 re-examination.
This will be the third appearance of these officials before parliamentary committees regarding the issue. Earlier, they had told lawmakers that ensuring the smooth conduct of the re-exam in pen-and-paper mode was their immediate priority.
The NTA has also released the exam city intimation slips for candidates appearing in the re-examination. The slip informs candidates about the city where their examination center has been allotted, enabling them to plan travel and accommodation in advance.
However, the agency clarified that the city intimation slip is not the admit card. While the slip only provides details of the allotted exam city and center, the admit card will contain the candidate’s name, roll number, reporting time, examination center address, and exam-day instructions. It is also the mandatory document required for entry into the examination hall.
The NEET UG 2026 admit card is expected to be released by June 14, and candidates have been advised to download and print both the city slip and admit card separately before the examination.
