Students at Medininagar center reported receiving mismatched question papers, triggering protests and delays before authorities intervened and resumed the examination later in the evening after corrective action.

The NEET UG exam at a center in Medininagar was disrupted on May 3 after question papers were distributed in the wrong language, leading to confusion and protests among candidates.
The problem was reported at Yodh Singh Namdhari Mahila College, where students appearing in the Hindi medium said they were given question papers in English.

The mismatch led to protests inside the examination hall, with candidates alleging serious lapses in arrangements and questioning the conduct of the exam.
Local authorities were informed soon after the situation escalated. Senior district officials reached the center and worked to restore order. Due to the disruption, the exam, scheduled from 2 pm to 5.20 pm, could not proceed on time.
After intervention by the National Testing Agency, corrective measures were implemented, and the issue was resolved. The examination resumed after 6 pm, allowing candidates to complete their papers.
SDM Sulochana Meena said that "the problem was caused by a technical error, which led to the distribution of incorrect question papers."
She said that the error was rectified and students were able to finish the exam without further issues.
The incident was limited to the Mahila College center, while the other centers in the Palamu district, including KG Girls School, District School, and Girivar High School, reported no such problems.
Senior officials, including Deputy Commissioner Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat and Superintendent of Police Kapil Chaudhary, remained at the center until late evening to oversee the situation. An investigation has been initiated to determine the cause of the lapse.
