Candidates can access recorded responses through the official portal, verify scanned sheets, and submit discrepancies by the deadline with a ₹200 fee per challenged response before final evaluation.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the scanned OMR answer sheets and recorded responses of candidates who appeared for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination conducted on June 21.
The documents are available on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, and scanned copies have also been sent to candidates on their registered email addresses.

Candidates can access their response sheets by logging in with their application number and password or date of birth. The facility allows candidates to verify the responses captured during the scanning process before the declaration of results.
NTA has opened a challenge window for candidates who find discrepancies in their recorded responses. Candidates can submit objections until July 15, 2026, at 11:00 am by paying a processing fee of ₹200 per challenged response through the online portal.
The agency clarified that the answer key challenge process has already concluded and no further objections related to the answer key will be accepted.
After reviewing valid challenges against recorded responses, NTA will prepare the final answer key, which will be used to prepare the NEET UG 2026 re-examination results.
How to download NEET UG 2026 re-exam OMR sheet:
Candidates can compare their scanned OMR sheets with the recorded responses displayed on the portal. If any mismatch is found, they can select the relevant question and submit a challenge by mentioning the correct response marked on the physical OMR sheet.
The challenge facility also allows candidates to report errors in details such as roll number, booklet number, or set code. After submitting the objection and completing the payment process, candidates must download the acknowledgment page for future reference.
To ensure secure access, NTA has implemented a Two-Factor Authentication system. Candidates must verify their identity through an OTP sent to their registered mobile number and email address before viewing the documents.
NTA advised candidates to carefully review their OMR sheets before raising objections. Only responses marked by completely darkening a single circle with a blue or black ballpoint pen will be considered valid.
The agency warned that manipulated or altered OMR images submitted during the challenge process will be treated as unfair means cases and may lead to debarment or legal action.
The processing fee will be refunded if a challenge is accepted. Candidates can contact NTA through the helpline numbers 011-40759000 and 011-69227700 or email [email protected] for assistance.
