Temperatures go up to more than 45°C. This is a big problem for peoples health and the water supply

The India Meteorological Department says that the heatwave is going to be very bad in the parts of the country. In places the temperature is already more than 45°C. This is making people worried about their health. If they will have enough water. The weather is also a problem for the environment.
In India the heat has been going on for a long time. The temperatures are much higher than what's normal for this time of year. This kind of heat can make people sick with things like dehydration, heat exhaustion and heatstroke. Old people, kids and people who work outside are the likely to get sick.

The India Meteorological Department is telling people to be careful. They should drink a lot of water stay inside when it is really hot and wear things that protect them from the sun. The government should also make sure people have water and help those who are suffering because of the heat.
The heatwave is also a problem for the water supply. People are using water and in some places the water under the ground is going down. This means that there might not be water for everyone. We need to save water and use it wisely.
This heatwave is related to climate change. The Earth is getting hotter. This is causing very hot weather. This is a problem for cities, farms and peoples health. Cities are especially hot because of something called the " heat island".
The heat can also hurt crops. Make it harder to grow food. This can cause problems with the food supply. Make prices go up.
We need to do something about the heatwave. We need to come up with plans to deal with the heat and make sure we are ready, for hot weather. We also need to take care of the Earth and use our resources wisely so that we can stay safe.
